For close to 11 years Sushi Seki located in the Upper East Side and favorite to elite chefs attained long term success existing strictly offline. The closest thing you would find online would be google searches, yelp reviews and random directory listings. With the opening of their second location in Chelsea and a plan for future locations Seki began to look for ways to define their online brand and grow their online presence.

Sushi Seki for over a decade had incredible success in Manhattan's Upper East Side. With the decision to expand the brand first in Chelsea and later in Hell's Kitchen it was important to establish an online presence which prior to 2013 never existed. General Manager Yasu Suzuki came to Melange Media with the mission of increasing public awareness of their Chelsea location along with maintaining their digital marketing. With no digital footprint their online debut needed to be properly navigated.
Through interviews, meetings and conversations with the client we were able to understand the existing offline brand and begin to translate it to an online brand. Following the refinement of their brand blue print we were able to build their website, social accounts and directories around it. With the social communities ready to receive their audience we began campaigns to locate, engage and group existing customers into these communities. This allowed us to continue a campaign tailored around their operations, seasonal calendar and on demand needs.
Through partnering with Melange Media, Sushi Seki was able to alleviate the ongoing time intense responsibilities of managing their social media / online accounts and online marketing efforts. Allowing the managerial staff to focus on the day to day offline operations. Sushi Seki now receives over 185,000 views a month through searches on Google. A targeted ever growing social media audience, a yearly social media engagement increase of over 1000%, 250+ downloads of their local restaurant app, and ranked #1 amongst their peers on social media.
